The Junemas Celebrations Continue
What a great weekend we had with the family. Celebrating my twin grandkids eighteenth birthday and high school graduation. It was a big hoopla, and I very much enjoyed it. I love my family and love to see them enjoying themselves and having a good life. Plus, it was my husband’s and oldest grandson’s birthday. Then of course, Sunday was Father’s Day.
To tell you the truth, even though I was happy for my husband, I did get a little jealous of all the kids coming to see him and on Mother’s Day none of them came to see me. But, like I said, I am grateful they came to see him. He deserves their loving kindness.
This week we’ve had our youngest grandson, he’s almost sixteen and I love that boy so much. It fills my heart to be with my kids. It fills my heart to celebrate their accomplishments and do whatever I can to help them along their way. I love them all so much.

Meanwhile, as busy as it’s been I did stay home a few days in a row this last week and get some work done in the house. That felt really good, also some yard work, front and back, I’m grateful for that.
It has been a pretty good week and I’m grateful for that. The news does have my attention this week, all I can do at this point is just pray for our world and the leader’s making decisions that will affect our lives.
I’m cutting this blog short because I’m tired and it’s late. I hope as our Junemas continues, our celebrations and love for each other continues to grow, laughing, praying, hugging and don’t forget eating- lol, all along the way. We must embrace the good times when they come because there are just too many days in our lives that are sad and painful, so enjoy it all while you can. To me, this is recovery in action. Happy Junemas ya’ll.
Question of the Week: How’s your Junemas going?
