Dreams Come True
What an amazing week we’ve had! Thanks to my God and NA, thanks to staying clean and working a program. Trusting my God, letting go and letting Him guide me and lift me up and He carries me when needed. Bottom line, it’s all due to not using no matter what.
Because of all this, we were able to sail around the Hawaiian Islands this last week. Making awesome memories with the Love of my life, my daughter and her family. God is so good to me, to us, He makes my dreams come true.
However, as usual, when I’ve been gone from home for a while, I can’t wait to get back. I miss my chair and my bed lol, my TV, my regular, mellow life. My local fellowship, friends and the day-to-day routines of my little life. I cannot keep up this travel pace for too long. With so much beauty to see in the world, I must pace myself to see it all and make my dreams come true a little at a time.
It is so good to be in a position where I can say I appreciate what I had, (this trip, this place) and what I’m leaving behind and I’m grateful for what lies ahead, my little hut in the hood as I call it. God sure is good to us. And how did a girl living in poverty get here? I don’t exactly know except that I got clean, stayed clean and tried to live in God’s will to the best of my ability. And for this, He helps make my dreams come true.
Sometimes I watch my dreams unfold right before my very eyes, and I am in awe of all I’ve been given. Thank you, God.
