Some Really Nice Guys
Quite a potpourri of events this week, everything from sponsee meetings- (all of us as a group)- to funerals, to bathroom re-construction. And meeting up with a new sponsee to get to know her better, then getting to teach another one how to host a zoom meeting, work the slides and boot out hackers! Then meeting up with an old friend who had forty-one years clean that day, it was last Wednesday. 😊But my favorite part of this week is that my son came and spent three nights with us. 😊
My heart is full, even for our friend that went to heaven to be with her Lord, now she is healed and peaceful for all eternity. No more sorrow or pain. Thank you, Lord. I’m also thankful for the guy who didn’t show up to work on our bathroom, because he didn’t come, we ended up with a really nice guy who is much more talented and sweeter than the other guy for half the cost, maybe even more than that! Thank you, Lord.
And to cap off this week, a really nice guy I met in Alaska at an NA meeting spoke on a zoom meeting tonight. 😊 I’m excited about that because I turned his name in so he could speak, because he has a great share. Meanwhile, we are doing our best to keep my husband, another really nice guy, safe from the dust and debris of the construction work going on here today.  He has COPD and it is not good for him to breathe dust and toxic stuff. My husband is my priority. Even my purpose.

So, all in all, it’s been a pretty good week, even with the healing of my eyes, one night was especially painful, don’t know why, but so thankful the next day that pain was gone. Well, it was probably my BFF’s and husbands’ prayer. 😊 Meanwhile, we have a couple of friends, who are also really nice guys that my husband sponsors, they have helped us with getting our roof and ceiling fixed. In fact, they have helped us with many things. It is nice to have younger people around that care. They are blessings to us.
As this week comes to a close and a new one will start, I am feeling the gratitude of having the blessings and privilege of being friends with these really nice guys. Just when we didn’t know from where our help would come, look to the hills from whence my help comes! Meaning, look up, help is always close at hand.
I hope when you all need help, that you have a really nice guy and help that comes to show you the way.
Question of the Week: Do you know some really nice guys?
