Holiday Care

OK, my head tells me, I’m the only
one!  I’m the only one who is dragging
her feet on Christmas decorating and shopping and planning and so on.  This is always a busy time of year with
parties, plays, concerts and winter fests and the such.  All this besides daily, regular living, going
to work, trying not to over eat, especially sweets and get a little
exercise.  OK, I know I’m not the only
one with so much to do, but I am indeed procrastinating.  The thing is, Christmas and the holidays come
at the same time every year, it’s not news to me or you or anybody.  Somehow it just always sneaks up.

The solution?  Get busy! Get with it and get it done.  I’m really at my best (or so I tell my procrastinating self) when it is the last minute to get it done!  I was that way with school assignments (at first) and always that way with cleaning house.  If I know I have company coming then it gets done!

So, as soon as I’m done with this blog, I’ll get back to it.  Just remember to pace yourself, take it easy,
and try to make it fun, after all, it’s the Holidays, they are meant for fun
and reflection, caring and sharing, being together, helping others and
celebrating the birth of baby Jesus.
Just be sure to take care of you in the process.

Question of the week: How do
you take care of yourself during the Holidays?

PS I have a thing for feathers, long story.
